Hi guys! I’d like to show you a really cool DIY I did last week. I made these really cute and trendy chokers. If you’d like to see how I did this, keep on reading!
What do you need?
- Some kind of lace or tether you like!
- Some clasps
- Some endings (okay, I give up, I don’t know what they’re called but you can see it in one of the following pictures)
- Some little rings where you can hang the charms on
- Some tongs where you can bend the endings and rings with
- And of course a couple of charms you like!
It’s really hard for me to explain exactly how I did it, so I hope you’ll understand when I show some pictures and explain a little bit what you can see on that picture.
So I firstly measured how long I wanted the choker to be. After that I added the closings to the end of the lace/tether and put the closing on. I used the tongs (you saw in the picture before) to secure all those closings and endings. You can see the result in the picture above!
After that I put the charms on the choker. I did this with a little ring because I think you can see the charm better. I also used a tong to do this.
These are all the chokers I made. I’m actually really really happy with the outcome of the DIY. I’m normally not that good with making necklaces so I wanted to do something easy and fun. The choker is becoming a really trend this fall/winter so I think I will be wearing this chokers A LOT!
So you can see me wearing a couple of these chokers in the next pictures:
The last one is definitely my favorite. I really like this red color, I have a lot of clothes in this color too so I think I’ll be wearing this one the most.
What do you think of this ‘Choker Trend’? What do you think of my variation on it?
Love, Anne ♥
P.S. I’m sorry for my bad English this time, I think it’s really hard to explain how I did things like this. And I’m also sorry for some blurry pictures. I had to make them in the evening so some are not as good/pretty as I wanted them to be.
