Review ♥ Wet n Wild Highlighter

Hey everyone, welcome back to my blog!! How are you guys? I have finally a new make-upblogpost for my make-uplovers out there! Today, I’ll be reviewing the famous Wet n Wild Megaglo highlighter!

Wet n Wild has always been a make-upbrand I have a love-hate relationship with. I think they have really beautiful, pigmented eyeshadows, but the color schemes of their palettes aren’t always great! It is also really hard to get here in The Netherlands, so I have to buy it in a German supermarket. They don’t have all the new collections there, BUT I did find this highlighter there. It was the last one, so I was super lucky and happy!

I bought this highligher because I saw it by Jeffree StarKathleen Lights and Laura Lee. They were all super enthusiast about it so I wanted to review the highlighter and see if it works for me as well!

The highlighter I’m talking about is the Wet n Wild Megaglo Highlighting Powder in Precious Petals. I bought it for €5,29 at the German Supermarket.

I think the packaging looks fine. It’s just a basic packaging, solid packaging. I love that you can see the color of the powder through it. That makes picking a highlighter for the day so easy! I really love the pattern in the powder. That makes the highlighter definitely more special!

I also did make a picture of the back of the packaging so you can see what the ingredients are. What I also like about this product is that it’s not tested on animals!

I swatched it on my hand and this is what the highlighter looks like! I think it’s GORGEOUS! That shimmer looks super pretty and the ‘glitters’ in it are not too big. I also love the color, it has a more pink undertone, which is perfect for me. They also sell a highlighter from the ‘same collection’ with a warmer, golden undertone. So everyone can pick a highlighter that is the best for their skintone. I must say that the highlighter is a little bit too dark for my skintone, just a tiny bit. But who cares lol, I really love the glow!

So my final opinion is positive. I love the packaging, I think it’s great that they don’t test it on animals and I just LOVE the glow it gives you!

I really hope you liked this blogpost! Have you already tried this highlighter out? Oh, and let me know what your favorite Wet n Wild product is!!

Much love, Anne ♥

  1. This highlighter sounds perfect ! We do have the wet n wild range here, so will be looking out for this highlighter. A huge plus for me, is the fact it is not tested on animals. Thank you Anne for this post. 🙂 Have a great day.

  2. I actually bought this highlighter for the same reason you did! I heard Laura Lee and Jeffrey star talking about it, and decided to test it out. I have to say my new favorite drugstore highlighter is the Maybelline chrome highlighter, but this one is a close second! I switch between the two of them recently, leaving my high end ones alone! Love this post xxx

  4. WnW is another one of my favorite affordable brands and I love that they are cruelty free. This is the exact shade I want and can never find for some reason (it’s probably that popular). Anyway, I have so many golden undertones highlighters and this would be a great change to my stash 🙂 Super gorgeous!
