Tutorial: Very Minimalistic Make-Up Look

Hey everyone, I am finally back with a little tutorial! Yes, it has been a while since I did a tutorial and I loooove doing them even though it takes me a lot of time to make them!

Today, I’m doing a very minimalistic everyday make-uplook that only costs me 2-3 minutes in the morning. I recently ‘discovered’ this super easy and fast look, because I’m very busy with school I don’t have a lot of time in the morning. I do want to look a little fresh, so that’s when I came up with this. When I have more time, I will do a more extended version, like this one. I think this would be also very suitable for people who are just starting with make-up!

(NYX Pore Filler primer)

I always start with priming my face. I use a porefiller primer on my T-Zone so fill in the pores a little bit and to make sure it stays matte all day long!

(Emani HD Corrective Concealer in 623 Fair)

Then I take this particular concealer and go in with my fingers and apply it on my dark spots, pimples and under my eyes. It instantly looks fresher! Sometimes I like to fix it with some powder as well, but I don’t do that everyday.

(The Body Shop Shimmer Waves in Blush)

I’m finally grabbing a brush, yay! This shimmer brick contains darker pink shades and lighter shades. I apply a little of the pink on my cheekbones, where I would normally but the blush. Then I apply the white shade, the one on the bottom, on the highlighter spot of my cheeks. I also apply that same shade under my browbone, on the inner corner of my eyes and on the middle of my eyelid with my little finger.

(NYX Worth the Hype Mascara & Catrice Eyebrow Filler in Brown)

Then it’s time to curl my lashes, put some mascara on and put some eyebrowgel on my eyebrows. (By the way, do you remember that this mascara was on my wishlist? My sister gave me this because I passed my last exam from the first year!)

(NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream in …)

The last step: I’m applying a lipproduct now! I grab a different lipproduct everyday. I also use a lipbalm a lot of the time. This day, I choose to go for a bold lippie!

So this is the final look! I really hope you like it. It only takes me 2 to 3 minutes when I’m in a hurry! Super quick!

I hope you like this look and that you ‘learned’ something from this, eventhough it was just super quick and easy. What do you wear in terms of make-up when you are in a hurry? I’d love it if you’d let me know it in the comments below!

Much love, Anne ♥

  1. This is definitely similar to how I do my makeup in a rush! Concealer, brows, bronzer and a little on my eyes! I tend to leave out lippie or mascara myself unless I really have time to do them 😀

  2. Love your tutorials Anne. I am often into the quick make up look for everyday sort of thing if not going anywhere too fancy. Then for me it is much like you, concealer, powder, bronzer, mascara, sometimes eyeliner and then eyebrow filler in and lipbalm.
    Have a lovely day 🙂
